D Key Result Areas

Strategic Business Development

·To closely work with the channel head to design business strategies and initiatives that will lead to improvement of sales performance in the channel.

·Responsible for designing, developing and implementation of initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency and service levels

·Manage governance framework

·Handling ongoing channel requirements for partner & Tata AIA Life Sales Team for . Analytics, Dashboards, MIS, Perks & Wallet, LMS, Branch Activity Manual, R & R etc.

Business Development

·To develop, agree and implement short term and long term plans to achieve sales volumes and desired product mix as set out in the business plans and financial models of the assigned Channel

·Closely monitor the productivity indicators showcased in MIS reports and influence bank partner (Channel Head) to take corrective actions whenever required to reduce anticipatory business impact

·Achieve pre-set business targets on ANP, case count, active sales staff and various KPIs for designated channels

·To Plan training requirements

Ensure compliance

·Ensure compliance to internal sales process & other compliance standards

· Should be process & product champion to ensures adherence to policies and procedures to cultivate a compliance culture in the team

MIS & Reporting

·Maintain required trackers & reports to be submitted to various stakeholders

·Conducts Business Analytics and take corrective measures

Operations Management

·To get complete understanding of channel's day to day operational activities

·Identify and help implement improvement initiatives to streamline operational processes

·Working closely with Business Head/Sales Head in providing excellent and differentiated customer service

·Keep all operational guidelines updated and ensure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify risk mitigates wherever there is a control issue

Project Management

·Techno Managerial skills to drive multiple projects, upgrades and improvement projects from inception to completion

·Excellence in Solution design, solution architecture, implementation strategy for complex web applications and enterprise software

·Sound business process knowledge with effective management skills and strong technical knowledge. Very successful in the design of efficient, effective and innovative solutions.

·Extensively worked with Business users and system Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Managers for gathering Business requirements, BRD, Blue print documents, Functional Specification document reviews during design sessions to clearly translate business Priorities and objectivities.

·Perform risk management to minimize project risks

·Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

·Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

·Influence and mobilize key stakeholders across departments for accomplishing key deliverables of the Project

·Study the impact of prevailing / evolving regulations and guidelines and application of the same for facilitating compliant partnerships

·Experience of working in a bancassurance distribution environment either in a bank or in an insurance company in the product / strategy team

·Experience of planning and managing multiple projects aligning business goals with technology solutions to drive process improvements, competitive advantage and bottom-line gains.

·Knowledge of developing and administering resource plans and budgets including data analytics concepts

·Product/Subject matter expertise including partnership distribution / bancassurance regulation understanding

·Ability to lead discussions with business and operations teams and convince leaderships to execute process improvement projects Excellent team work skills and capability to work across multiple projects simultaneously with ability to work well under pressure, aggressive timelines
