Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in our upcoming refactoring project for a large company in the financial services industry.

As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Employ data analytics techniques to assess current processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports, charts, and dashboards to executives and stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication channels between IT and business teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to IT teams during the implementation phase.
Qualifications

  • Master's in computer science, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or a master's degree in business administration.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
  • Proven expertise in data analytics techniques and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with financial services industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Experience with SQL and other data manipulation languages.
