Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos that meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
  • Ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of video content.
  • Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product.
  • Review scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
  • Create rough and final cuts.
  • Ensure final video is 100% error-free and aligns with the company's branding and visual style.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement new techniques to improve video quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar.
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
