As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder to oversee our factory electricals.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in Thane, Maharashtra. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components. This role requires a strong understanding of welding processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
  • Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques, materials, and procedures based on project specifications.
  • Perform welding operations, including arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, and oxyfuel cutting, to join metal components and structures.
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct prewelding and postwelding inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of welding equipment and work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with other members of the manufacturing team and production staff to meet production schedules and quality targets.
  • Report any welding defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor or manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of welding activities, materials usage, and production output.

Qualifications:

  • ITI/NCTVT certification in Welding Trade.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques, including arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, and oxyfuel cutting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of welding materials, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
