Reporting Line : Country Brand Director, India (Functional Report to Sr. Manager, Internal Control, MEAI) – 1 direct report to supervise.

We are seeking a proactive and business-driven Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, internal controls, regulatory compliance, legal matters, and supply chain partnerships in our India operations. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, adherence to internal and external regulations, and optimizing financial processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a wide scope of finance and administrative functions within a lean team environment, with exposure to various sub-functions within finance and supply chain management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Finance:
- Oversee overall financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and budget/financial planning.
-Be the key referent for all F&A, legal and regulatory matters pertaining to BVL India for external and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of all internal reporting submissions.
- Proactively identify and implement viable outsourcing solutions for routine day-to-day activities to optimize existing resources.

Internal Control and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain robust internal control measures to ensure business control and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Full ownership of internal and external compliance requirements, including direct and indirect taxation, regulatory submissions, and compliances.
Legal Support:
- Act as the local point of contact for all legal matters/projects and facilitate as a project manager.
Supply Chain Partnership:
- Serve as a business partner and local point of contact for the regional supply chain team.
- Advocate for market-specific needs and facilitate special projects, such as shared bonded warehousing solutions. Project management of key projects.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with key functions including MarCom, Retail, Wholesale, HR, and Supply Chain to support business objectives.
-Identify opportunities for business performance optimization along with local functional leads- budget allocations, cost savings.

Leadership:
- Manage and develop a Finance Specialist
- Foster a collaborative and proactive work culture, emphasizing reliability and integrity.
-Identify and champion opportunities for efficiency and automation.

Profile

REQUIREMENTS:

- Proactive and business-driven mindset with a strong problem-solving ability.
- CA certification would be welcome but not essential.
-Required: Strong and developed skill sets in excel, power point. Nice to have: working knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau
- Experience working in a lean team environment with exposure to various sub-functions within finance and supply chain management.
- Mid-level candidate with high ascendancy potential preferred.
- Familiarity with luxury brands or similar eco-system is advantageous but not mandatory.
