Job Description

We're searching for an Operations Specialist to become part of the Procore team. In this exciting opportunity, you'll ensure everyone has the necessary information by taking responsibility for the ongoing governance of a knowledge base system, including its overall health and best practices. Your role involves making crucial decisions regarding information architecture, technology, and the general structure and usage of our knowledge base system.

As an Operations Specialist, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the company to create, review, and upkeep high-quality content for Product and Technology. You will establish guidelines for what information is collected and by whom, how it integrates with the remaining tech stack, and ways to prevent it from becoming outdated. Utilize your expertise in content management, information architecture, and strategic planning to ensure uniformity on a global level and align the content strategy with the company's vision. Your involvement will be pivotal in shaping a successful and efficient knowledge base, directly impacting employees on a day-to-day basis.

This role will be reporting to our Manager, P&T Portfolio and will be situated in our Bangalore office. We're seeking an immediate addition to our team.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Establish the HR knowledge management strategy for our knowledge base, maintaining high-quality, current, and easily searchable content for audiences with varying skill levels
  • Formulate and implement a knowledge management philosophy
  • Promote a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among different departments and project teams
  • Ensure stakeholders are well-versed in the knowledge management processes and that the correct information reaches the appropriate individuals
  • Utilize analytics to assess business impact, monitor usage, determine the effectiveness of the knowledge base content, and present findings/recommendations to stakeholders
  • Lead, guide, and nurture a team of writers from each department to adhere to established guidelines and execute effective information dissemination
  • Define writing standards based on knowledge base best practices and develop the team to ensure they meet or exceed these standards
  • Collaborate efficiently across the organization with stakeholders, change management, service teams, trainers, curriculum developers, and subject matter experts to create and support new and existing processes

What we're seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with systems like Airtable, GitHub, Workday, Smart Recruiter, and Visier
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent business writing and verbal communication/presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Effective relationship-building skills to gain the trust of business partners and leaders
