Nature of work
The incumbent would be responsible for managing the entire gamut of sales operations of the assigned Govt./ non govt accounts and get our products specs empanelled in all Govt / non govtsector in the assigned region thereby achieving the sales targets.
Reports to Govt. Vertical head
Qualification and Experience:
MBA and or engineer with specialization in Sales from an institute of repute.
8 -10 years of sales experience of selling products (Non IT) in governmentGovt / non govt vertical.
Skill Set Required :
Strong track record of selling high and mid ticket projects with proven track record of consistent high performance and new business acquisitions.
Understands buying process cycle in governmentGovt / non govt (State, Central Ministries, PSU, Municipal Corporations, Defence, Police, Canteens) and should be well known with the dynamics of Government sector. Manages relationship with system integrators to ensure horizontal penetration into Govt accounts by getting our products specs mandated in Small/Mid and Large Govt tenders.
Ability to forecast future sales trends and devise future sales strategies for the same.
Strong account management, business acumen and entrepreneur mindset needed.
Experience of working with Partners/Liasioners on large and complex deals.
Strategic planning, market plan execution with skills in competitor and market analysis
Developing relationships at all levels of customer organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation from New Account and direct sales and marketing of products/services
Instrumental in screening of prospective clients and converting them to satisfied customer
-To work on all kind of Govt projects Small/Mid-level which can be closed in 1-2 months and parallel work on large projects, which gets closed in 3-6 months.
Participate in Business Plan and execute the strategy to expand customer base in the assigned Geography and grow this Govt / non govt Vertical
Will be responsible for managing existing govt. accounts as well in the assigned Geography
-Constantly Qualify and build new opportunities / prospects and work on Sales Hopper with closure dates
Accurately forecast and execute Booking, Billing and Collection figures
Positioning of our products and solutions in all Govt customers
Effective Account Management and Customer Relationship - Establishing a cordial relationship with the clients so as to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and repeat purchases upgrades and cross sales of products and solutions
Demonstrated excellence in giving presentation and arranging demonstration of the products in different government sectors, influencing the specification of the product and making the company strong even if tender comes out
Building and maintaining healthy business relations with major customers, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
Responsible for creating a compelling value proposition in government segment.
Competition Analysis by keeping abreast of Market Trends & achieving market share metrics.

Deep knowledge in the process of tendering process in PSU, GovtGovt / non govt, Defence, Police etc
Understand all DGS&D Order Processing.
The ability to support the customer in national level on sales as well as support prospective.
The ability to assessment and understand competitors week point in large tendering/ bidding process.
