Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing projects involving Linux administration, MongoDB database administration, Docker containerization, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab, and monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus. This role requires hands-on experience to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration of applications.

Requirements:

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with development teams for streamlined deployment of Node.js applications.
  • Optimize Node.js environment performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Linux Administration:
  • Manage and maintain Linux servers to ensure high availability and security.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patching.
• MongoDB Database Administration:
  • Oversee MongoDB database instances including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Implement data backup, recovery, and performance tuning strategies.
• Docker Containerization:
  • Develop and manage Docker containers for various applications and services.
  • Ensure proper orchestration of containers using Kubernetes or DockerSwarm.
• CI/CD Pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab:
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLabCI.
  • Automate testing, integration, and deployment processes for improved efficiency.
• Monitoring and Logging:
  • Set up and maintain monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus for system health.
  • Implement logging solutions for issue detection and resolution.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams for seamless software integration and delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on industry trends in DevOps and cloud technologies.
  • Propose process improvements to enhance the DevOps workflow.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in managing Node.js applications.
• Extensive experience with Linux administration.
• Solid understanding of MongoDB database management.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD tools.
• Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with other databases and caching solutions (e.g., Redis, PostgreSQL).
