G) Job Overview :

  • We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure and operations at our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, hardware management, network development, and technical support. The IT Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems to support manufacturing processes and meet business objectives.

H) Key Responsibilities :

1) IT Infrastructure :

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure to support manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of all IT systems and services.

2) Hardware Management and Repair :

  • Manage inventory, deployment, and maintenance of hardware devices across the plant.
  • Coordinate repairs and replacements as needed to minimize downtime.

3) Local Networks :

  • Develop and maintain local area networks (LANs) to facilitate efficient communication and data transfer.
  • Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.

4) Technical Support :

  • Provide timely assistance to plant personnel in resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot problems and escalate issues to appropriate support teams when necessary.

5) Client Requests :

  • Respond promptly to client requests for IT support or assistance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

6) Operating Systems :

  • Manage and maintain operating systems across various devices and platforms, including servers, workstations, and embedded systems.

7) Firewall :

  • Configure and manage firewall systems to safeguard the plant's network infrastructure from external threats.

8) Surveillance :

  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of surveillance systems to ensure the security of the manufacturing facility.

9) Biometric System :

  • Administer biometric authentication systems for access control and attendance tracking purposes.

10) Bartender Labelling & Printing :

  • Manage Bartender labelling and printing software to support production labelling requirements.

11) Bee Labelling :

  • Coordinate Bee labelling processes to ensure accurate product labelling in compliance with regulatory standards.

12) Barcode Printer :

  • Maintain and troubleshoot barcode printers used in manufacturing processes for product identification and tracking.

13) MES (Manufacturing Execution System) :

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of MES software to optimize production scheduling, tracking, and reporting.

14) Masibus :

  • Oversee integration and utilization of Masibus systems for process automation and control.

15) SCR (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) :

  • Manage SCR systems for monitoring and controlling plant equipment and processes.

16) NAV Application :

  • Provide support for the NAV (Enterprise Resource Planning) application used for inventory management and production planning.

I) Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, hardware management, networking, and system administration.
  • Proficiency in operating systems, firewall configuration, and surveillance systems.
  • Experience with manufacturing-specific software and systems such as MES, SCR, and ERP applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.

J) Location :

  • The position is based at our manufacturing plant based at Sikandrabad, UP.
