Marketing Manager – Security

Marketing Manager role sits within Cisco's Security Field Marketing Team. This role is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of our customers' cybersecurity priorities and for creating and adapting engaging marketing campaigns to engage and connect with our cybersecurity community to drive awareness and demand.

What You'll Do

The role will lead the development & execution of the marketing plan for Cisco Security Products & Solutions and work with designated colleagues to ensure and facilitate to meet Security field marketing Key Performance Metrics.

You will operate within APJC Security marketing team, reporting to the Asia Pacific Security Marketing Leader within the global security field marketing team.

The role includes the following responsibilities in support of Cisco's fastest growing business

Own the formulation and steer the execution of the security marketing plan in support of the company's cybersecurity market leadership and growth targets Work closely with marketing team to lead the security marketing plans to drive awareness and demand for Cisco security solutions in APJC, with targets as marketing qualified leads, sales pipeline and sales bookings targets Engage with APJC Security sales team and APJC marketing team to understand business priorities, ensure they are reflected and supported in the security marketing plan and communicate our marketing capability, strategy, and execution in support of the business goals Working closely with global marketing colleagues, implement marketing campaigns to engage prospects and customers with compelling content and guide them along a journey of education, solution exploration and selection, using digital, social, and face-to-face marketing interactions Create compelling locally relevant content as needed using templates and guidelines to adhere to brand, journeys, targeted personas, and creative platform guidelines Measure, analyze and share content performance to ensure effective and relevant campaigns that respond to customer and prospect needs and priorities and test the content to ensure that it is impactful with Cisco's audience. Actively supervise the content that is available or under development both globally and in other countries. Plan, lead and implement marketing events & campaigns.

Who You'll Work With

You will report to APJC Security Marketing Leader. You will work closely with the APJC and global security marketing teams, extended marketing teams, APJC security sales team and approved Cisco marketing agencies

Who You Are

Our ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional marketing experience in the technology industry (preferably in large MNC) in cybersecurity and able to implement projects independently. Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience's required and additional marketing management diploma preferred Strong Computer skills: Spreadsheets, Word processing, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Domo, Tableau or data analysis platforms and digital marketing are highly recommended. You should have a solid understanding of the cybersecurity industry, market trends and the competitive environment and a good appreciation of customer cybersecurity challenges and needs. Problem solver and ability to collaborate and work under pressure in a fast-paced matrixed organization An established track record of developing impactful marketing campaign from conception through to execution and achieve campaign critical metric in terms of MQL and sales pipeline generation. Experienced in all stages of creating a successful marketing campaign i.e. planning, strategy, execution, asset creation and distribution. Strategic and tactical expertise in digital marketing, event management and social media Experienced in editing marketing content whilst adhering to brand and tone of voice guidelines Comfortable collaborating with global / regional / local colleagues as part of a physical or virtual team Self-motivated and ability to motivate and influence others and ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy Fluent in English
