NPST is a fintech company bridging the banking and fintech worlds with its product suite of technology and payments, for over 10 years. We provide software and digital payment solutions to the BFSI Industry as a Technology service provider. We function as a Technology Service Provider (TSP) and a Third-Party Aggregator Provider (TPAP), catering to stakeholders across the financial value chain, including banks, merchant aggregators, merchants, and consumers.

We got listed targeting SME IPO in Aug – 2021 on the NSE Emerge platform with a market cap of 2000 Cr (as of Mar'24) and became NPCI- an approved Merchant Payment Service Provider, acquiring merchants and facilitating payment. NPST has a marquee clientele having 10 Banks and 30+ PAPG and Merchants.

What will you do

We are seeking a dynamic financial analyst to join our highly agile team. This role gives an opportunity to work closely with the management towards achieving organization vision. You will manage strong investor, banker and public relations and will strengthen that for domestic and international market. Role will do business financial data and cost Sheet analysis for tendering and required to create financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision making. You will be responsible for developing financial plans and reports for organizational leaders. We shall be doing past financial performance analysis to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy. Role will do financial risk analysis and management and will closely do industry trends analysis and will make recommendations based on those trends.

Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, tendering.

Job responsibilities:

Financial Models:

  • Responsible for developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models that support the company's strategic goals.
  • Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
  • Financial planning & projection guiding business investments and overall financial strategy.

Analyzing financial data:

  • Evaluate and analyze financial data.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses. Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications.
  • Financial control analyses of business and financial data.
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.

Forecasting & Planning:

  • Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
  • Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
  • Forecasting and analyzing market trends and risks which impact business continuity.
  • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Look into current and past financial data and performance assessment & analysis.
  • Explore investment opportunities.

Public Relation

  • Managing & maintaining strong investors & bankers relationship.
  • Managing domestic & international financial investors.
  • Maintaining public relations.

Financial Reporting

  • Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
  • Prepare & write financial reports and collect industry research to inform decision making and better projections based on analysis.
  • Gather data, organize information, analyze results, make forecasts and projections, recommendations, excel models.

Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation

  • Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation.
  • Establish and evaluate profit plans.
  • Evaluate proposals, explore investment opportunities, operating records, financial statements, etc.
  • Identify trends in financial.

End to End Financial control

  • Oversee financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control.
  • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.

What are we looking for:

  • Analytical skills: Financial analysts must have excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make sound financial decisions.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft excel, financial modeling, and other analytical tools used in the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills: Financial analysts must be able to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
  • Strategic thinking, ability to multitask and strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient in project management, time management and organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
  • Entrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate and own your work.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.
  • Influencing skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with team members at all levels.
  • Collaborative approach and work with perfection as a group effort to achieve organization goal.

Education Qualification – Master's degree in finance, MBA, CA /CFA or related field required.

Total Experience: 6 to 10 years,

Industry - IT/Software/BFSI/ Banking /Fintech

Work arrangement – 5 days working from office.
