About the teamAs part of the larger Banking Solutions IT Platform Application Support, our team is at the forefront of supporting FIS' Banking & Payment Applications.

We use industry-leading technologies, applications, automation and processes to deliver and support FIS IT technologies.

What you will be doingHelp to implement SRE Principles & Practices and Application Support with Engineering mindset in Application Production Support teamGoing to work on breadth of technologies, should be ready to learn / exhibit breadth of technologies to understand the systems and implement SRE practicesUnderstand complete echo system andMandatory participation in Triages/Root cause analysis of issues and plan for fixing themWork as per SLI, SLO and Error Budgets.

Identification and reduction of TOIL,SRE Tools,

Automation and AI/MLCover application stability, uptime and performance with Monitoring and Observability.


Chaos EngineeringParticipate in Technical discussions with Architects / Dev / DBA / SysAdmin etc teams to ensure adoption of SRE Principles in building Secure and Reliable systemsWhat you bring:7+ years experience in devops,Docker,Kubernetes ,CI,CD ,JenkinsApplications servers WebSphere (Added advantage - JBOSS, Tomcat and IIS).Web servers (Apache, IBM HTTP Server, etc.)Linux / Unix commands.


Experience in Monitoring Tools:
Splunk, Dynatrace, Control-m.
Experience in SSL Certificates Management.

Knowledge of Oracle/MSSQL DatabaseShould be willing to work in 24/7 shift rotational shift as On-call for weekdays and weekendsNetwork applications and TCP/IP protocols.

Scripting – Shell, Python (Added Advantage – PowerShell).Automation - CI/CD concepts – JenkinsWindows ServersCI/CD tools – OpenShift, Kubernetes.
