Major Job Functions

  • Introduce and support new technology, services and equipment
  • Provide input to the necessary requirements of SFL within the Clinical centers
  • Provide inhouse technical advice and fitting solutions to customer base
  • Provide problemsolving solutions to complex problems resulting from hearing aid fittings
  • Maintain all current product and service information files
  • Provide recommendation as requested
  • Provide support and work within the SFL Fitting Clinic if required
  • Check and verify quality
  • Support corporate health and safety objectives
  • Provide clinical support to SFL clients when requested
  • Assist on PFS/Customer Service calls when requested
  • To promote an atmosphere of teamwork that is congruent with the centers standards and
guidelines

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
Competencies Required

Knowledge, skills and abilities required for performance of duties:

Education:
Bachelor degree in Audiology and RCI registration required

Experience:
Minimum 1 year professional experience as an audiologist required

Training: 3 months

  • Excellent oral and written English language, along with communication skills essential
  • Ability to work and travel independently required
  • Excellent people skills required
  • Knowledge of hearing instruments a necessity
  • Public speaking skills desirable
  • Bilingualism an asset.
  • Must know how to give speech therapy.
