About the team

What you will be doing:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software on multiple platforms.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Perform database backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Develop and maintain database security policies and procedures to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues, working collaboratively with other IT teams as needed.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and downtime.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

What you bring:

  • At least 9 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other database management tools.
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Oracle certification is a plus.
