We are searching fora skilled and experienced Snowflake Administrator to join our team.As a Snowflake Administrator you will be responsible for overseeingthe management maintenance and enhancement of our Snowflake datawarehouse environment. You will work closely with the dataengineering and analytics teams to ensure optimal performance andavailability of our data platform. The ideal candidate has a strongbackground in database administration particularly with Snowflakeand is familiar with cloudbased data warehouse solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Snowflakedata warehouse environment ensuring high availability and optimalperformance
  • Design and implement data storagesecurity and access controls within Snowflake
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues identifyingand implementing necessary optimizations
  • Collaborate with data engineering team to design andimplement data integration processes and pipelines
  • Stay up to date with the latest Snowflake features andcapabilities recommending and implementing upgrades asneeded
  • Perform regular backups and developdisaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity andavailability
  • Conduct regular system healthchecks and proactively identify and resolve issues
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systemsor related field
  • Proven experience as aSnowflake Administrator or similar role
  • Strongknowledge of Snowflake architecture and underlyingtechnologies
  • Extensive experience with SQL anddatabase administration
  • Familiarity withcloudbased data warehouse concepts and architecture
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborationabilities
  • Ability to work independently and ina teamoriented environment
  • Certifications inSnowflake or related technologies are a plus
