Role Responsibilities:

  • Production, Detailing, and verification of BIM models and Highway drawings such as General arrangement, plan profile, cross-sections, standard details, Site Clearance, corridors for highway projects both 2D and 3D independently.
  • Conduct Quality assurance checks on all deliverables to ensure CAD/BIM standard compliance and other project-specific elements, including layers, styles, title blocks, naming conventions, text parameters, etc.
  • Assume responsibility for technical quality assurance, manage client feedback, and ensure effective communication of any modifications.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate with other teams to address design challenges.
  • Proactively engage with different Arcadis Regional offices/teams to resolve issues and establish strong relationships with project colleagues, leading to positive feedback.
  • Liaise with and support design professionals and BIM Manager/Coordinator.
  • Adhere to schedule, quality checks, and project requirements.
  • Work closely with other design disciplines to maintain the integrity of the overall design.
  • Follow BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
  • Adhere to BIM content standards and development procedures.
  • Maintain good communication skills and effective writing abilities.

Software Proficiency:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD/MicroStation, Civil 3D/Open Roads for BIM Models and drawings preparation.
  • Solid understanding of relevant BIM Authoring tools.
  • General awareness of software interoperability for completing discipline tasks.
  • Familiarity with Design Automation (Scripting, LISP, VBA, .NET, Dynamo, etc.)
  • Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ITI Drafting/Diploma in Civil Engineering/BE Civil/from a recognized University.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and academic background.
  • Experience with software relevant to BIM modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, assertive individual who can work effectively under pressure.
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels.
  • Adaptability to embrace new challenges as per business needs.
