Job Title: Sr. Dot Net Developer

Job Description:

The Dot Net, SSIS Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and data integration solutions using Microsoft's .NET framework and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient and seamless integration of data between various systems, while maintaining data integrity and security. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and other developers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications and SSIS packages for data integration and transformation tasks.

2. Analyze and understand business requirements to develop customized data integration solutions.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements, and provide technical expertise to ensure the successful implementation of data integration projects.

4. Develop and implement data validation, error handling, and data transformation logic within SSIS packages.

5. Test and debug data integration solutions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and performance.

6. Monitor and maintain data integration solutions, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

7. Document and provide technical support for data integration solutions, including the creation of user guides and training materials.

8. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in the field of .NET and SSIS development.

9. Mentor and support junior developers in the team.

10. Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in .NET development and SSIS data integration.

3. Strong understanding of C#, .NET Framework, and SQL Server.

4. Proficient in designing and developing SSIS packages, including data flow, control flow, and scripting tasks.

5. Familiarity with data transformation techniques, such as ETL, ELT, and ETL.

6. Experience with data integration tools, such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica, or Talend.

7. Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and database administration.

8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
