Role: Lead Engineer - Component Validation Years)

Job Description:

  • Formulate a comprehensive test strategy, create test procedures, and develop test cases based on PRD, Field Failures, and DFMEA documents.
  • Establish and upkeep a Validation Master Plan for process, equipment, controlled areas, and packaging validation.
  • Offer expertise in ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Set team objectives, prioritize tasks, and efficiently allocate resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, component owners, product specialists, and quality assurance, to define test plans and acceptance criteria.

Primary Qualification, Skill, and Experience:

  • B.E/ B.Tech in EEE/ECE.
  • 8+ years of extensive experience in the validation and testing domain.
  • Thorough understanding of the functional, safety, and reliability aspects of analog, digital, and power electronics circuits.
  • Specialization in developing DVPs, providing design feedback, creating reliability test profiles, and conducting warranty analysis for diverse components like Battery, Motor, Motor controller, DC-DC converters, and Embedded systems.
  • Proficient in identifying system risks, communicating them to cross-functional teams, and recommending effective mitigation strategies.
  • Hands-on experience in testing mixed signals electronics products using tools such as multimeter, DSO, Logic analyzer, and Function generator.
  • Skilled in test estimation, defining deliverables, planning deliverable timelines, managing issues, resolving problems, reporting progress, and overseeing team activities.
  • Supervise the implementation of functional, performance, reliability, and safety tests.
  • Extensive knowledge of Black-box testing, SIL and HIL testing platforms, and automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Flexray.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently.
