Commission management and Institutional research has picked up a lot of attention ever since MIFID II has launched. MIFID II has changed the dynamics of the Investment management and institutional research industry.

With the changes in regulatory environment new opportunities have evolved, and we offer you a chance to play a pivotal role in this dynamic and challenging area within Global Ops.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to the below:

  • Institutional Research is a revenue generating function for the bank, and you will be responsible to invoice all clients accurately and ensure the funds are received within reasonable timelines
  • Forecasting of research invoices that are issued to clients for CS research
  • Responsible to distribute revenues to various regional desks' P/Ls on monthly basis
  • Opportunity to understand and manage various process and system enhancement projects; it will give you a chance to provide strategic solutions to the firm
  • To ensure all controls are followed and all gaps are escalated to the management proactively
  • Independently engage with regional leads, risk teams, Finance, Product Control and other support functions in efforts to manage functional goals
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc reporting of key risk & performance indicators, to provide clarity to key partners
  • Perform balance sheet substantiation through a process of reconciliation, investigation & resolution of exceptions. Independently perform detailed analysis on breaks, collaborate with multiple teams and drive resolution within tight deadlines
  • Annual control design documentation & control testing as per SOX guidelines.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess below:

  • We are looking for dynamic individuals who are driven, focused on learning, capable of independently managing with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in investment banking operations and balance sheet reconciliation with a strong understanding of reconciliation and accounts receivable processes


 Educational background
  • MBA (finance)
  • Understanding of Operational risk & assess its impact independently, take decisions on escalation and drive remediation
  • Demonstrate effective analytical/problem solving and decisionmaking skills. Attention to detail, diligent and good time management of tasks
  • Strong communication skills and able to establish excellent partnership with partners
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and develop skills, and business awareness. Own and be accountable for the management of own performance
  • A positive 'cando' attitude & a growth mindset
