ACES Manager
ACES managers are dedicated to enhancing Sort Centers (SCs) to meet Amazon customers' needs, standardize processes, collaborate with various departments, offer process expertise to SCs, support SC launches, facilitate SC Kaizen Events, and manage cross-functional projects for successful SC implementation.

The mission of the process owner is to assist SCs in expanding operations while achieving performance targets by driving standardization, cultivating skilled process improvement leaders, overseeing key business projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the elimination of root causes identified in standard work initiatives.

Responsibilities:
The ACES Manager will support SCs in a specific region. Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing SC Benchmarking processes customized for India to train ops leaders and establish sustainable mechanisms in INSCs.
  • Utilizing the PDCA methodology to drive incremental process enhancements.
  • Applying the Kaizen methodology to lead significant process improvements or cost reductions.
  • Ensuring continuous deployment of CI essentials and Kaizen essentials training for managers.
  • Collaborating with WW ACES to adopt "Amazonian terminology for ACES tools", setting up robust systems, and training operators to deliver the expected value for Area Organization and Area Readiness.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in operational logistics/supply chain, manufacturing, transportation, general management, or engineering roles
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
The ability to travel up to 50% of the time to assess, implement, and monitor best practice solutions
Excellent analytical skills to assess complex processes and financial scenarios
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Demonstrate a proven track record of team leadership within a large-scale, fast-paced, process-oriented environment, managing multiple projects efficiently.

Sound business acumen
Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and related software
Completed graduation in any subject

Experience as an Operations Manager in an Amazon SC
