Senior DevOpsEngineer

Introduction:

JoinAugust Infotech an IT services and outsourcing leader as a DevOpsEngineer. We seek a talented and experienced professional tooptimize our development and deployment processes and ensure oursystems reliability scalability and security. The ideal candidatewill have at least three years of handson experience in DevOpspractices tools andmethodologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaboration andImplementation:
Collaborate with software developers system operators(SysOps) and other stakeholders to design and implement efficientand reliable DevOps pipelines.
Provide technical guidanceand support to development teams on DevOps best practices tools andprocesses.
2. Automation and Streamlining:
Automate andstreamline our development testing and deployment processes usingindustrystandard tools and frameworks.
3. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Manage andmaintain cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support our applications andservices.
Monitor system performance and reliabilitytroubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure highavailability and uptime.
4. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Implement bestpractices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such asTerraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
5. Security and Compliance:
Ensure the security of oursystems and data by implementing robust access controls encryptionand compliance measures.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Continuously evaluate andimprove our DevOps practices tools and infrastructure to

optimize efficiency andscalability.
7. Staying UptoDate:
Stay uptodate with the latesttrends and technologies in DevOps cloud computing and softwaredevelopment.

Requirements

Requirements:

1. Educational Background:
Bachelors degreein Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.

2.Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a DevOpsEngineer or in a similar role.

3. Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency inscripting languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
Handsonexperience with containerization technologies like Docker andcontainer orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience withCI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD orCircleCI.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms like AWS andits services like EC2 S3 RDS etc.
Familiarity withinfrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools like TerraformCloudFormation or Ansible.

4.ProblemSolving and Communication:
Excellent problemsolvingskills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues indistributed systems.
Strong communication and collaborationskills with the ability to work effectively in a
fastpaced team environment.

PreferredQualifications:

1. Certifications:
Relevant certifications suchas AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

2. Monitoring and Logging Tools:
Experience withmonitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack orSplunk.

3. NetworkingKnowledge:
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IPDNS HTTP etc.).

4. MicroservicesArchitecture:
Experience with microservices architecture and relatedtechnologies (Docker Swarm Istio etc.).

5. Database Technologies:
Familiarity with databasetechnologies (SQL NoSQL) and related DevOps practices.
