Position: Software Development Engineer - 2

Team: Engineering

Base Location: Pune

Probation Period: 3 Months

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer - 2 to join our Technical team. This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs for our Web Applications.
  • Manage data exchange between the server and users.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure application stability and reliability.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to enhance development processes and update our technology stack.
  • Integrate front-end frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/B. Tech/ M. tech/MCA
  • Experience: 3-5 years in back-end stacks and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java.
  • Knowledge of database technologies including Relational(MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Experience with web frameworks like Spring Boot, Vert.x, Express, NestJs, etc.
  • Development experience with tools like Maven, NPM, etc.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of SOA principles and backend development.
  • Experience with Git version control framework.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD principles.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Server-Side Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs using backend programming languages. Implement efficient solutions that meet application requirements.
  • Database Management: Optimize database schemas and performance. Implement security measures.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with frontend developers and stakeholders for seamless integration.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated with backend technologies and best practices.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Document technical specifications and provide ongoing support.
