Role: Staff Software Engineer UI – Analytics

The Amagi Monetise team is dedicated to developing products that drive monetization for customers in various streaming segments like FAST, VoD, and Live Events. With innovative products such as Amagi Thunderstorm and Amagi Analytics, Amagi is shaping the future of ad insertion and analytics in the streaming world.

Team- Analytics

The Analytics team at Amagi is on a mission to build a cutting-edge platform that provides customers with invaluable insights into their channel's streaming data. From viewer analytics to ad performance metrics, this team is reshaping the way data is utilized to enhance user experience and drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of feature requirements from ideation to delivery and ensure continuous system optimization.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable UI framework to enable frontend developers to create diverse interfaces.
  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced, responsive UI components for Analytics platforms, with a focus on React and other modern frontend technologies.
  • Architect robust frontend systems that seamlessly integrate with backend services to deliver a scalable Analytics solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive user experience, involving UX designers, QA, data scientists, and product teams.
  • Pioneer the adoption of the latest frontend technologies and frameworks to keep the technology stack efficient and up-to-date.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability challenges to ensure optimal system functionality.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design and frontend development, demonstrating a history of delivering scalable web applications.
  • Expertise in React and a comprehensive understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and tooling like Webpack and Babel.
  • Proven experience in utilizing chart and graph libraries for creating visually appealing dashboards and maps.
  • Strong grasp of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and proficiency in handling asynchronous requests.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or related fields, coupled with a solid programming foundation.
  • A passion for Analytics technologies and a keen eye for UI/UX design and user-centric development.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, creative thinking abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
