Job Role: Data Scientist

Job Location: Bangalore

Role Summary:

  • You will assist clients in solving real-life problems by navigating the data-to-insights process: understanding business issues, grasping the data landscape, and utilizing a mix of exploratory Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics on textual data. You will create, experiment, and deliver innovative solutions with a consultative approach to clients using textual data.

Desired Profile:

  • Background in Computer Science/Computer Applications or a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics/Operations Research, etc.) from a reputable institution
  • 3-6 years of experience using analytical tools/languages like Python on large-scale datasets
  • Must possess Semantic modeling & NER experience
  • Experience with pretrained models and awareness of the latest trends in embeddings and their applicability for various use cases
  • Strong experience in NLP/NLG/NLU applications using popular Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, BERT, and GPT (or similar models) along with OpenCV
  • Exposure to Generative AI models (LLMs) like Mistral, Falcon, Llama 2, GPT-3.5 & 4, Prompt Engineering
  • Experience working with Azure services for ML & Generative AI projects
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with client stakeholders at different levels and provide consultative solutions across various domains
  • In-depth knowledge of techniques such as Linear Regression, gradient descent, Logistic Regression, Forecasting, Cluster analysis, Decision trees, Linear Optimization, Text Mining, etc.
  • Strong understanding of integrating NLP models into business workflows with exposure to project initiation and impact creation in at least one project. Experience in model productionizing & retraining
  • Coding skills in languages like Python, SQL
  • Expertise in language semantic concepts & data standardization
  • Track record of successful models and practical implementation
  • Hands-on experience with popular ML frameworks like TensorFlow
  • Experience with scalable application development practices from problem definition to deployment
  • Familiarity with Cloud services like AWS SageMaker is advantageous
  • Develop and apply Statistical Modelling techniques (e.g., Bayesian models, deep neural networks), optimization methods, and other ML techniques to various applications
  • Knowledge in Machine Learning techniques for entity resolution, speech products, or text search domain
