The HR Data and Analytics Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and enhance organizational performance.

This role requires a combination of analytical expertise, HR knowledge, and strategic thinking to interpret data, generate insights, and recommend actions that optimize HR processes and initiatives.

The HR Data and Analytics Manager collaborates closely with HR leadership, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of data strategies with organizational goals.


Responsibilities:

Data Management:

  • Develop and maintain robust data management processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of HR data.
  • Oversee the collection, storage, and maintenance of HR data from various sources, including HRIS, performance management systems, recruitment platforms, surveys, and other relevant sources.
  • Implement data governance frameworks and standards to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct indepth analysis of HR data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform strategic HR decisionmaking.
  • Generate regular and adhoc reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key HR metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop predictive models and forecasting techniques to anticipate future HR needs and trends.

Insights and Recommendations:

  • Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations to improve HR processes, policies, and programs.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and functional leaders to address specific talent challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention strategies, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employee engagement.

Technology and Tools:

  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize HR analytics tools and technologies to enhance data collection, analysis, and visualization capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in HR technology and analytics to continuously improve data practices and outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with HR leadership, business leaders, and crossfunctional teams to understand their data and analytics needs and priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by providing insights and recommendations that support informed decisionmaking.
  • Foster a datadriven culture within the organization by promoting the value of data and analytics in driving business outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in HR analytics, data management, or related roles, preferably in a large, complex organization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, R, Python, or statistical software.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
  • Certification in HR analytics or related fields (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, HR Analytics Certification) is a plus.
