Your Role and Responsibilities

The Position


You will work closely with the solution architecture, development and UX Design teams, and other system testers in the agile implementation of high-quality deliverables.

You will drive the verification of development and maintenance fixes, ensuring that deliverables meet quality expectations, and you will share your z/OS and subsystem expertise with the Z AIOps organization to aid in the development of advanced Z AIOps insights.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 7+ years of professional experience working as a software tester.
  • Experienced enterprise software tester
  • Experience with creation and execution of automation testing
  • Mainframe Domain knowledge: z/OS plus some levels of subsystem experience such as Db2, CICS, MQ and/or IMS.
  • Knowledge of customer Z Systems, z/OS and subsystems environments
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience working in Linux environments.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Kafka.
