Job Description
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing high quality applications and writing code on a daily basis.

This includes heavy collaboration with product managers, architects and other software engineers to build best-in-class software using modern technologies and an agile development process.

The Software Engineer reports to the Manager, Engineering/Development.

You will also:
Develop high quality applications that provide a delightful user experience and meet business expectationsDevelop clean, reusable, well-structured and maintainable code following best practices and industry standardsDevelop elegant, responsive, high performance, cross-platform solutionsDevelop, debug, and modify components of software applications and toolsWrite automated unit, integration and acceptance tests as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelinesSupport and troubleshoot data and/or system issues as neededActively contribute actionable and valuable feedback in code reviewsParticipate in system architecture and design reviewsParticipate in user story creation in collaboration with the teamWork with team members to develop prototypes as necessary and validate ideas with a data driven approachBe an active participant in all Agile team eventsNo Travel RequiredNo Budget Responsibilities
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Applied Mathematics, or Applied SciencesThree (3+) years of Software Engineering or other relevant experienceThree (3+) years of C# (.

NET)Experience using code versioning tools such as GitExperience with Agile development methodologyExtensive experience with application development in modern object-oriented programming languagesExperience in SQL or other relational data storage technologiesExperience in automated testing practices including unit testing, integration testing, and/or performance testing

Preferred Education and Experience:


Five (5+) years of Software Engineering or other relevant experienceFive (5+) years of C# (.NET)Three (3+) years of PythonExperience with dependency injection frameworksExperience working with Microservices ArchitectureExperience using Virtualized hosting and delivery (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of Realtime Data Streaming (e.g.

Kafka, Kinesis)Understanding of Server less Computing (e.g. AWS cloud services)

Physical Requirements:
Talking, listening, and speaking clearly on the telephone and online meetingsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
