Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team, responsible for developing and maintaining highquality Android applications.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in Android development frameworks, strong knowledge of design patterns, and experience with various architectural patterns like MVP (Model-ViewPresenter) and MVVM (Model-ViewViewModel).
  • Additionally, the candidate should have handson experience with Kotlin, Material Design, version control systems like Git, and proficiency in unit testing and memory leak fixing.
  • The role requires collaboration with crossfunctional teams, participation in code reviews, and integration of thirdparty libraries and APIs.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain highquality Android applications using Kotlin and adhering to best practices.
  • Implement design patterns and architectural patterns such as MVP and MVVM to ensure scalability, maintainability, and testability of the codebase.
  • Utilize Material Design guidelines to create visually appealing and userfriendly interfaces.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure proper version control using Git and platforms like Bitbucket/GitHub.
  • Write unit tests to validate the functionality of code and fix memory leaks to optimize performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and sharing of knowledge among team members.
  • Integrate Retrofit/GSON for efficient network communication and data Develop and consume APIs (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON) ensuring security best practices and data integrity.
  • Implement crash and performance monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Integrate social login mechanisms for seamless authentication and user engagement.
  • Utilize Google Maps SDK for locationbased services and mapping functionalities.
  • Evaluate and integrate thirdparty libraries as needed to enhance application features and functionalities.
  • Integrate payment gateways to facilitate inapp purchases and transactions securely.
  • Ensure compliance with app distribution guidelines and manage the release process.
  • Stay updated on the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM), and Material Design principles.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin programming language and handson experience with Android SDK.
  • Expertise in version control systems like Git and platforms like Bitbucket/GitHub.
  • Experience with unit testing, memory leak fixing, and code optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with Retrofit, GSON, and integrating APIs (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
  • Knowledge of web protocols, security basics, and best practices in API development.
  • Experience with crash and performance monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics, Android Profiler).
  • Ability to integrate social login mechanisms and thirdparty libraries effectively.
  • Proficiency in integrating Google Maps SDK and payment gateways.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Knowledge of app distribution processes and guidelines (Google Play Store, App Store) is a plus.
