What is the accountant - Corporate Accounting in Corporate Reporting India team responsible for?

Compliance, return filings, audits, assessment of indirect tax i.e. Goods and Services Tax (GST) for 50 branch locations. Compliance, assessment, appeal matters for direct tax including transfer pricing.


What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Accountant - Corporate Accounting?

Computation of GST tax liability for each branch within due date Preparation and filling of GST returns for each branch within due date Preparation of GST audit report for each of branch and filing of the same Provide details to the consultant to obtain GST audit report Review of reconciliation of GST data with financial statements Review matching of vendor invoices on GST portal Checking the eligibility of input tax credit of GST and ensure correct ailment of GST credit at each branch Preparation and filing of GST refund claim for excess input tax credit on account of export of services Maintenance of GST related records Preparation of details to be submitted with tax authorities. Preparation of monthly tax provision, advance tax liability for corporate entity Preparation and filing of income tax return, tax audit report within due date Assistance for handling of tax assessment, appeal with various judicial authorities Assistance for transfer pricing matter including filing of reports, assessment Assistance in replies to various notices, rectification application arising out of order Maintenance of income tax related records

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

Inter CA with experience of about 1-3 year

Work Shift Timings - 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST
