Job Context

Job Purpose

Manage information technology and computer systems, ensure smooth functioning of IT operations and equipped with current hardware and software. Maintain uniformity and conformce to IT policies and procedures across the sites of company. Manage support for L3 level escalations related to Server, Network and End User Compute.

Job Dimension

Job Responsibilities

Implement and manage various IT related initiatives taken up in the areas of IT Security, IT Networking, software implementations related to IT, IT infrastructure and devices, Video Conferencing etc. at Offices and Plant locations, in line with the IT roadmap.
- Manage a team of IT Engineers spread across various locations remotely. Should have experience in managing Appraisals, Daily/Weekly Reporting and Team Management skills.
- Should be able to Manage IT Budgeting activities and IT Expense tracking against approved budgets
- Implement, Manage and monitor IT Projects, MoCs (Management of Change) and Business projects.
- Plant visits for project tracking, IT operations management and stakeholder management at regular intervals
- Implement effective IT security systems on servers, network, user endpoints (laptops and desktops) to ensure security of data and applications
- AD Management and related policy deployment
- Management of firewalls with Web Filtering, setting of rules, NAT etc.
- Implement DLP/Data Classification procedures and application on relevant electronic devices
- Implementation of SAM(Software Asset Mgmt) and ITAM/ISMS processes and applications at Company.
- Ensuring software compliance for all softwares being used.
- Optimize utilization of network bandwidth and highlight if any upgrades are required in the bandwidth or suggest alternate technologies for Link Optimization.
- Identify and implement various monitoring tools related to IT infrastructure, Log monitoring, IT Network and End user computing.
- Plan and schedule back up of critical applications and databases.
- Manage and maintain change management as per IT Guidelines
- Define and manage contracts for Network, Bandwidth, End-user Compute and other components in infrastructure/environment
- Periodic review with vendors and ensure adherance of SLAs
- New technology evaluation and implementation
- Lead the implementation of ISO 27001 at Plant Locations and offices
- Implement and Manage site IT infrastructure for LIMS
- Lead green/brown field projects at zone level and plan/design and implement IT infrastructure for it
-- Design, develop and impart training content for IT related systems to users/IT team.
- Proactively Plan and upgrade infrastructure as per business need
- Experience/knowledge working on SSO, DLP, ITAM/ITSM tool, IT/OT Integration, CCTV integration, IoT, Analytics etc will be and added advantage
- Experince/Knowledge working on IOT/Industry 4.0 projects will be an added advantage
