Role:
Ensuring timely and accurate information flow of whole school students and staff in the school MIS.
Managing and creation of secondary school timetable in coordination with the deputy principal of the secondary
school.
Key Accountabilities:
- Check student timetables to ensure that all are complete and distributed as necessary in the school
- Annual Rollover ensure new curriculum correctly set up and all students enrolled in correct groups
- Setting up of Trip information system in the school MIS system.
- Creating/handling whole school reports. Formatting reports of Primary school and printing them
- Creating of annual transcripts for counselling office
- Uploading of student academic report on MSP (My School Portal)
- To support the school timetable coordinator as and when required.
- Check staff timetable to ensure that are complete and distributed as necessary in SIMS.
- Preparation of staff timetable in coordination with the deputy principal of the secondary school.
- Ensure smooth running of the school MIS system and allocate levels of access to teachers and admin
- Setting up of new format / templates and reports etc. in the school MIS system.
- Setting up of Achievements and behavioral tracking in the school MIS system.
- Handling IEP writer management.
- Creating MIS reports.
- Provide Progress, Semester, Mock reports etc. and database lists as requested.
- Regular support to KS secretaries for setting up PTC events.
- Advise on forward planning including space, staff constraint.
- Ensure individual Timetables are made available to teachers by mid of the month of May and
- Provide statistical data of teacher's workload to Line Manager, Principal and HR.
- Allocation of rooms as per teacher's request.
- Rerooming due to exams & school events, should the need arise.
- Ensure that all staff members are fully competent and able to use the school MIS system in an
- Provide school MIS system training to new and existing staff members on a regular basis.
- Train targeted groups on specific aspects on the school MIS system.

Qualification and skills
- Experience 2 to 3 years
- A graduate degree in any field, preferably in management information systems, information
- Confident, creative and articulate team worker with excellent communication and IT Skills.
- Good understanding of making/developing school timetable will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of the school's functioning.
- Collaborative approach, able to work well with others in a team
- A learner who will bring new sources and new thinking to the management of data.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Previous work experience in similar capacity.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
