Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group is looking for a meticulous Compensation and Benefits Manager, based at its Hyderabad Innovation Hub.

The ideal candidate will oversee the site's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.

This role involves being a subject matter expert, supporting the implementation and management of employee compensation and benefit programs and policies.

Required experience includes employee benefits such as absence and time away benefits, health and welfare benefits, financial wellness, retirement benefits, as well as wellbeing benefits and incentives. The position involves working directly with compensation and benefit vendors and outsourcing partners for plan set-up and issue resolution.

This position plays a key role in planning and facilitating the administration of employee compensation and benefit programs to align with Cigna's organizational goals, total rewards strategy, and changing legislative landscape.

The individual will support the administration, implementation, and communication of employee compensation and benefit plans, policies, and wellness programs, organizational compliance, communication, and related initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer the company's compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and health insurance plans
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry standards to keep the company's compensation and benefits competitive
  • Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking studies
  • Assist employees and HR colleagues with benefit and policy queries
  • Coordinate with C&B vendors, HR Operations, and payroll on day-to-day issues
  • Participate in necessary HRIS system testing, annual enrollment, and policy changes
  • Stay updated on legislative changes related to pay and benefits practices
  • Responsible for regulatory filings and vendor performance tracking
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and global C&B colleagues on annual compensation planning and programs
  • Provide local insights on career architecture and pay range design

Communications:

  • Prepare accurate employee communications regarding compensation and benefits programs
  • Assist with all-employee compensation and benefits presentations
  • Ensure proper communication of compensation and benefits policy information
  • Partner with internal and external communication resources for effective employee engagement

Qualifications Needed:

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in HR compensation and benefits, preferably with a large global employer
  • Strong knowledge of current compensation and benefits practices
  • Experience with various compensation and group benefit plans
  • Knowledge of C&B laws and regulations in India
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and learn actively through experimentation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive team player with attention to detail
  • Highly organized, action-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Effective time management and adaptability to change
