Job Title:
TGT Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Lesson Planning and Delivery:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging and effective science lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and handson activities to facilitate active learning.

Curriculum Implementation:

  • Ensure that the syllabus is covered in a systematic and timely manner.
  • Utilize various teaching methodologies and strategies to address different learning styles and abilities.
3.

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Design and administer formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, tests, and exams.
  • Grade and evaluate students' performance and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
4.

Classroom Management:

  • Maintain a positive, safe, and conducive learning environment.
  • Manage student behaviour effectively, fostering an atmosphere of respect and discipline.
5.

Student Development:

  • Identify and support students' individual learning needs and provide additional assistance when necessary.
  • Encourage and motivate students to develop a keen interest in science and enhance their critical thinking skills.
6.

Parent Communication:

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about students' progress, academic issues, and classroom activities.
  • Participate in parentteacher meetings and school events as required.

Professional Development:

  • Stay updated with the latest educational trends, teaching methodologies, and CBSE guidelines.
8.

Extracurricular Activities:

  • Engage in and support school extracurricular activities, such as science fairs, clubs, and field trips.
  • Mentor and guide students in science projects and competitions.
