Job Description:
Lead ML Developer

We are looking for a technical-specialist type candidate; with real-world, hands-on projects experience.
We will look for candidates with sound fundamentals rather than surface application of techniques.
Ability to learn and adapt to the ever-evolving AI field with its new techniques and technology.

Experience :
Preferably 10-15 years

Education :
Bachelors/master's in computer engineering or related fields

Work/Problem space :
Work will span domains – ranging from manufacturing, life-sciences, finance to retail.
Problems could span business functions - ranging from Operations, Sales, Finance, IT to HR

Core skills preferred:
Application of Machine Learning and Data Science to problems
Statistical ML techniques, deep-learning, computer vision and NLP (deeper knowledge on at least two of four)
Analyze, design and develop complex AI ML (machine learning)
Model performance analysis (evidence-based and statistical techniques)
Assist in deploying and post-live monitoring of solutions.

Technology space :

Open Source:
Python and R

Coding standards based on PEP8 or Google Python

Platforms:
One of these is good enough – Azure, Amazon, GCP, Databricks

Database systems:
Working and integration knowledge of basic SQL based RDBMS, No SQL document-based databases such as Elasticsearch and/or Mongo DB
Exposure/knowledge of deployment strategies such as API and docker containers

Additional soft skills preferred:
Work independently and/or in small teams
Lead and develop young team members
Agile working environment
Collaborate with architects, data engineers and deployment teams
Interface and interact with business clients, internal corporate group and function leads
Generally good learning, leadership, communication, team working skills
