Job Description:
Store Associate

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.

2.

Store Maintenance:
Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store environment.

3.

Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and transactions using appropriate software systems.

4.

Weighing Bridge Operations:
Operate weighing bridge equipment to measure and record the weight of incoming and outgoing goods.

6.

Compliance:
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

7.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.

8.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of solutions.

Qualifications:

1.

Knowledge:
Understanding of store maintenance practices and procedures.

2.

Record Keeping:
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.

3.

Weighing Bridge Operation:
Experience or familiarity with operating weighing bridge equipment and recording readings.

4.

Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5.

Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

6.

Attention to Detail:
Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

7.

Team Player:
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

8.

Adaptability:
Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.

9.

Flexibility:
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
