Overview:
  • We are in search of a highly experienced Lead Technical Business Analyst with over a decade of experience within the financial services field to become a valuable addition to our team.
  • The perfect candidate will play a key role in working closely with stakeholders and relevant teams to gather and document business requirements for financial services applications.
  • This position demands expertise in scrutinizing APIs, defining system requirements, developing thorough specifications, and ensuring precise implementation through efficient communication and collaboration with multifunctional teams.
Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and relevant teams to collect and document business requirements for financial services applications.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and discussions to extract requirements effectively.
Analysis and Documentation:Analyze APIs, related business processes, workflows, and system requirements to document and steer effective solutions.
  • Create detailed functional/technical specification documents for development and integration projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry standards.
API Specification:Record API specifications, covering metadata, constraints, and data mapping/transformation rules.
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy in API documentation to facilitate smooth integration and interoperability between systems.Communication:

    Effectively convey insights, plans, and requirements to team members from various departments, including developers, QA engineers, project managers, and senior executives.

    • Provide regular updates on project advancements, challenges, and risks.Information Reporting:Gather vital information from meetings with different stakeholders and generate insightful reports to guide decision-making processes.
      • Present discoveries and suggestions to management and stakeholders when necessary.

      Collaboration with Development and QA Teams: Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and successful testing.

      • Review deliverables to ensure they align with specifications and business needs.
      Testing Activities:

      Plan and conduct testing activities, such as defining test cases, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and managing and resolving defects effectively.

      • Confirm that implemented solutions fulfill business requirements and quality standards.
      Alignment with Business Objectives:Ensure that suggested solutions harmonize with business objectives, industry regulations, and financial services best practices.
      • Offer guidance and suggestions for enhancing processes and efficiency.
      User Training and Support:Assist in user training and support initiatives by addressing queries and issues regarding system functionality, processes, and workflows.
      • Provide continuous support to users for the efficient utilization of financial services applications.
      • Industry Trends and
      Best Practices:Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in financial services and business analysis.
      • Apply acquired knowledge and insights to foster continuous improvement and innovation within the company.
      Requirements:
      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
      • Over a decade of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, focusing on technical analysis and solution documentation.
      • Demonstrated expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements for financial services applications, including APIs, workflows, and system requirements.
      Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, adept at analyzing intricate business processes and proposing effective solutions.
      • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
      • Experience in creating comprehensive functional/technical specification documents for development and integration projects.
      • Knowledge of financial services industry regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
      • Proficiency in planning and executing testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect management.
      • Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
      Keen attention to detail, adept at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
