As a part of business operations, Nayara and its partners deal with procurement of a large number of categories,
Electrical / Instrumentation (Material and Services) is one of such categories .

The subcategory manager will be responsible for ensuring execution of requirement under Electrical/Instrumentation category in cost effective supply and services of all commodities and establishing strategic partnerships with supplier and contractors.

This position will interact with several functions in the organization and will report to the category Manager - Electrical & Instrumentation.


Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

ACTIVITIES

  • 1 Category Action Plan for Procurement Overall responsible for category responsible and exhibit the NAYARA policy to third parties & subordinates.
  • Implement policies and reviews the same & make sure for compliance of policy for self and team member.
  • Overall, In charge of NAYARA Ethical policy, anticorruption policy for self and team.
  • Responsible for implementation of SOP & e procurement tools for the category (Check, balance & control).
  • Responsible for supplier management for category. Identify & implement parameters for supplier relation, supplier performance and exhibit the same.
  • 2 Procurement strategy execution Coordination with planning & analytics team to prepare spend analytics. Review & Monitor data and present the same to management for category responsible.
  • Prepare Procurement planning based on demand planning for category responsible and execute procurement planning.
  • Prepare category segmentation and category strategies & execute the same.
  • Prepare approved vendor list for category responsible and work to optimise the same.
  • Prepare guidelines for fulfilment executive for day to day for Procure
- to
- pay cycle & execute the same effectively.

  • Prepare goaloriented negotiations strategy & lead the negotiations to achieve the same.
  • Coordinate with fulfilment executive to prepare documentation in line with guidelines & requirement of category lead.

  • On daytoday basis monitoring Procurement activities of Team like Floating enquiry / Tendering in open market as per management guidelines, Obtaining Bid, Technical Coordination with user department, Preparing Techno Commercial QCS, Negotiation with vendors for best price value,
  • To ensure procurement / Services within agreed lead time, Proposing Order / ARCs on cost effective manner with supplier having impeccable performance, quality, delivery, price, and safety.

  • Saving (p.a) within the category in line with category value delivery plan.
  • Trend in category material & services with respect to plan/past transaction/estimates as well as focus on market Trend in category material & services.
  • Development of new/alternate supplier for category to optimise supplier data base. Monitor & Evaluate supplier performance.

Skills & Knowledge:

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
B.E/ B.Tech.

Instrumentation (With Post graduation in Materials Management is additional advantage)
Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:3 to 8 years' experience in in various aspects of
Instrumentation Procurement in Large Scale Refinery and Petrochemicals or any other large scale industries.

Experience in SAP. In-depth knowledge of Procurement & Contracts.

Functional Skills:

  • Good Knowledge of procurement process, Industry standard contracts,
