Role Description:

The Financial Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements, use analytical skills to interpret financial data, use accounting software to record transactions, and prepare financial reports. The Financial Accountant will also be responsible for financial reporting and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, with a focus on Tally.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including ROC (Registrar of Companies), MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), and other statutory requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws, GST, and other financial regulations to ensure the company's adherence.
  • Process monthly payroll, including salary calculations, tax deductions, and other related tasks.
  • Handle employee reimbursements, incentives, and benefits administration.
  • Prepare and file timely and accurate tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other relevant taxes.
  • Collaborate with external tax consultants when necessary to ensure compliance.
  • Generate financial statements and reports for management review, providing insights into the company's financial health.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ROC, MCA, payroll processes, taxes, GST, and Tally.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations.
