Detailed Job Description

  • Hands on trouble shooting experience and Configuration and management of firewalls (FortiGate & Cisco ASA )
  • Hands on trouble shooting experience and Configuration and management of Cisco WLAN controllers, Cisco Prime
  • Hands on trouble shooting experience and Configuration and management of Cisco Catalyst, Nexus series of switches.
  • Indepth knowledge and practical understanding of Networking concepts OSI, TCP and DNS, DHCP, IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP.
  • Solid understanding and troubleshooting skills in IPSec VPN technologies, Clustering and High Availability (HA) concepts.
  • Good Practical experience in understating and troubleshooting Network Security and related technologies, Firewalls, access and perimeter control, vulnerability management and intrusion detection.
  • Should have a strong knowledge on various attacks like SYN flood, Replay attacks etc. and the mitigation techniques.
  • Defining configuration policies and active tuning of DLP, L7 Firewalls, VPN, AV, IDS, W/IPS, SIEM, SSL Inspection, Endpoint Protection, mobile device computing, DB Security and similar security technologies/services.
  • Ensure that you fully understand and comply with the organization's Risk Management Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day to day work that you put customers at the heart of everything you do.
  • Ensure that you fully understand and comply with the organization's Data Governance Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day to day work that you treat data as an important corporate asset which must be protected and managed.
  • Relationship owner for key security products and solutions managing 3rd party and vendor risks, service levels and metrics.
  • Provide incident response & resolution as part of the 24x7 Network Operations Center
  • Responsible for handling the Entire Network of a major Client.
  • Provide technical leadership within a highly technical team
  • Responsible to translate client requirements in to detailed actions for execution
  • Required to follow detailed change management and incident management processes
  • Communicate with other technical teams regarding Firewall/Routing/Switching operations
  • Work in a fast paced operations environment & Troubleshooting DC environment incidents
  • Responsible for the daily performance and availability of the network security infrastructure. Analyzes network and recommends upgrades/changes; assesses organization's current and future network needs
  • Responsible for Network Evaluation & Proposals
  • Certification :CCNP / NSE4 preferable
