Role: Quality Assurance Software Development Engineer in Test

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 2-6 Years

Notice Period: Immediate joiner only

Responsibilities:

  • Active role in SDET throughout product development phases
  • Responsible for manual and automated testing of web-based platform
  • Execution of test phase and bug resolution
  • Work closely with SDEs and solution architects for quality efforts
  • Debug test failures and develop test plans
  • Identify test cases for automation
  • Creation and maintenance of QA documentation
  • Use of tracking tools for project management

Specific Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience in testing REST APIs and tools like Postman
  • Hands-on experience in micro-service environment and SQL queries
  • Strong in writing SQL queries
  • Experience with bug tracking tools and CI tools
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of CI/CD and Kafka
  • Ability to manage test environment deployments
  • Experience in building API test automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, browsers, and operating systems
  • Understanding of JavaScript and web programming
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of test automation experience using tools like TestNG and Selenium Webdriver
