Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team as the Finance Head.

This role is pivotal in driving the financial strategy of the organization, focusing primarily on procuring funds for fleet expansion while ensuring compliance, budget allocation, financial reporting, risk management, and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to cultivate relationships with financial institutions

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Procurement of Funds for Fleet Expansion:


Develop comprehensive presentations and pitch decks displaying the organization's strengths, past achievements, financial data, future projections, vision, differentiators, and other relevant information for potential investors.


Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top-level management of banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), and other financial institutions to secure investments and funding.

Establish sub-departments such as costing and data analysis to collect and analyze various data points essential for informed decision-making

Fulfilment of Compliance:


Coordinate with external audit firms to ensure compliance with taxation laws and regulations, ensuring timely and accurate payment of all taxes.

Collaborate with audit firms to identify opportunities for tax savings while adhering to legal requirements.

Implement internal control systems to manage receivables and payments accurately, maintaining a smooth cash flow within the organization.

Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial processes to be followed by all departments.

Budget Allocation and Analysis:


Ascertain and allocate budgets for activities across all departments, collaborating with department heads to assess proposed expenses and estimate returns.


Analyse the performance of each department by comparing estimated expenses and returns with actual figures, providing valuable insights for future budgeting and decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting:
Prepare and provide financial data for audit purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial risks that may affect the organization's operations and profitability.

Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the development of long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Costing Management:
Monitor and control expenses to optimize resources and improve cost-efficiency across all departments.

Investment Analysis:
Evaluate potential investment opportunities and provide recommendations based on financial analysis and risk assessment.

Treasury Management:
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investments to optimize returns while minimizing risks.

Financial Forecasting:

Forecast future financial performance based on market trends, business projections, and other relevant Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.


  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the travel or related industry.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in securing investments and managing relationships with financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning and decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
