What you'll do at Ather:


You will be working as a technician with hands-on experience of soldering and reworking microcontroller/SoC based systems interfacing with displays, radios, sensors and actuators.


  • Board bringup through manual soldering/desoldering.
  • Maintain and Organize Lab equipment and component infrastructure based on 5S methodology.
  • Executing check in/check out process for Lab assets.
  • Ensuring adherence of safe working practices in Lab
  • Perform reworks on production boards for quick tests.
  • Modify production boards for ease of testing.
  • Good knowledge of handling different harnesses with different gauges, making sturdy and compact test setups.
  • Use lab equipment appropriately, following proper test standards (UL, ARAI, BIS, IEC standards). Comply with clean room procedures, ESD guidelines etc.
  • Be comfortable in a challenging, fast moving environment

Here's what we are looking for:

  • Excellent soldering skills. Rework and soldering of SMD and thru-hole Devices on PCBAs.
  • Proficiency with use of lab equipment like multimeters.
  • Ability to read schematics and harness drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of electric circuit design and analysis (Resistors, Capacitors, Inductors, Diodes).
  • Debug & Troubleshooting of Embedded HW Systems/Boards
  • Beneficial to have:
  • Knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets.

You bring to Ather:

  • Diploma/Bachelors in electrical field with significant hands on work on PCBA.
