Position Summary: All aspects of production and operations including Plant 100 and Plant 200. Responsible to participate in loading and unloading operations of bulk raw materials and palletized goods supporting production. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, instruments, and processes to ensure proper sequencing, proper reaction profiles, and proper quality of the manufacturing processes incorporated into Plant 100, Plant 200 and critical utility support. Must be able to fully perform all Operator Level 1 and Level 2 activities. Level 3 operations include being able to fully prepare, initiate, charge, production batches from the control system for Plant 100 and Plant 200. Initiate correct end of day/end of shift communications with supervisor or next shift team. Interpret quality data from the lab and communicating as appropriate to supervisors and management for any required actions. Ensure all support equipment has been started/stopped/checked as required with all checklists being fully completed.

Job Responsibilities: 1. Effectively perform all Level 1 and Level 2 activities and assignments.

  • Fully operator P100 and P200 control system.
  • Ensure all auxiliary equipment is prepared and fully ready to support site needs for production.
  • Train operators in Level 1 and Level 2 operations. Ensure performance meets standards to ensure safe and quality operations are ongoing.
  • Connect hosing under P200 reactors for proper transfer.
  • Monitor P200 homogenization process to ensure target pressures are being met.
  • Unload materials and goods of inbound freight – includes storage and stacking for non-bulk materials and unloading of bulk chemicals received by tank truck or rail.
  • Monitor production operations and record all necessary activity being responsible for the data and its integrity.
  • Identify problems, troubleshoot issues and report status or quality deficiencies to supervisor – fully involved in corrective actions and planning.
  • Transport non bulk raw materials to production workstations.
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular inspections and maintenance as designated.
  • Keep updated records of production, unloading, loading, inventory and activity logs.
  • Ensure all process operate within designed parameters.
  • Follow and utilize standard operating procedures.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Participate in all site safety training, activities, and drills.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly site.
  • Pay utmost attention to detail in every operation, every day.
  • Other duties as assigned to support operations and maintenance.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, sitting, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Bachelor degree in any related field
  • Able to fully perform all Level 1 and Level 2 activities.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:


  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Skills/Experience:


  • Minimum 7 years of experience.
  • One-year forklift operation experience.
  • Operations experience in an industrial setting
  • Ability to be trained in standard operating procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write English and follow verbal instructions.
  • Basic math, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Standard Programs used for Office and Plant Environments
Terms:

Contract period: 6 months to 1 Year
Working hours & days: 12 hours rotating shifts, day and night
