Job DescriptionWe're seeking skilled technologists to join a FinTech team that provides ultra-low latency solutions to capital markets.

This includes developing crucial components like matching engines, pricing engines, market gateways, data feed handlers, smart order routers, and algorithmic trading suitesTeam & Role Overview:
You'll collaborate closely with a small, dynamic team, working alongside each member and the team lead


Your main responsibility will be the development of high-performance financial applications in Java, such as trading market data feed handlers, smart order routers, trading gateways, and algorithms.

Additionally, you'll contribute to designing and architecting these features

Requirements Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

8+ years of hands-on development experience for senior developers or 5+ years for intermediate developers

Senior developers should possess a solid grasp of software design principles and a passion for cutting-edge technologies and ultra-low latency architecture

Junior developers should demonstrate a positive attitude, discipline, accountability, and a keenness to learn new technologies

Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Attention to detail, with the ability to analyze requirements and align them with both business and product sustainability perspectives

Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English

Preferred Skills:
Experience in high-performance enterprise or real-time systems, particularly in banking and finance


Extensive knowledge of the Java programming language and ecosystem, including Java 8/11/17+, garbage collectors, GC-free techniques, concurrency, dependency injection, and unit testing.

(those with standalone J2EE, Java web applications, or Spring-only experience may not be considered)

Candidates with good hands-on experience in modern C++ concepts like C++ 11/14/17, STL, boost, atomic operations, lock-free techniques, lambda expressions, and template meta programming may also be considered

Experience with distributed systems, message buses, microservices architecture, and network programming

Proficiency in applying design patterns and principles to build robust, scalable, and ultra-low latency applications

Experience with agile and iterative development methodologies

Proficiency in using Linux/Unix commands and tools for scripting and troubleshooting (such as shell script, awk, sed, python, etc.)

Additional Information:
A Java proficiency test will be administered
