Primary Function:

Sr. Finance Consultant (Microsoft D365 Finance/ accounting & project management) will lead the development, implementation, and transformation of Microsoft D365 ERP ecosystem for dss+ globally. Extensive experience in finance, project management and accounting modules are expected as a core competency from this profile/role. Working closely with global key stakeholders from finance, accounts, and other business process owners/functions to ensure an enabling D365 modules functionality for our global businesses. Well versed with D365 ERP system understanding standard (base) module's functionality as core and highly expert in giving work around solution as well, wherever needed. Have worked on Microsoft D365 (ERP System) single tenant architecture with multiple legal entities running in a global environment with Multi currency, tax structure, statutory and regulatory compliance requirements. Highly skilled in configuration, setup related to Microsoft D365 finance, accounting & project management module. Depth Knowledge in Integration with D365 CRM, Microsoft power apps. Experience in supporting Microsoft Power BI (PBI) reporting. Have Worked in professional services role. The individual will liaise closely with business and functional stakeholders to ensure that requirements are identified and are responsible for D365 software-specific design and realization, testing, deployment and release management and technical and functional application management of D365 (F&O) ecosystem.

Brief Job Description:

Liaise closely with Business Process Owners and functional stakeholders to ensure that application and business process requirements are identified and met in D365 ERP system for Finance/accounting & project management modules. Ensure that application-specific design and realization documents are prepared, and ensure testing, deployment, and release management in collaboration with implementation partners, Business Process owner and Internal IT team. Drive Microsoft D365 finance, accounting & project management module for business process functional requirements and timely implementation Methodological understanding and capability development through testing and training and lead all the ERP requirements and its implementation. Involved in D365 ERP Implementation & extensive experience in integrations channels/touch points and technique and methods. Highly expert in D365 Finance & project management module setups, configuration, customization including currency & exchange rate setup, periods and fiscal year setup, date intervals, reason codes, dimensions, COA, Journal Setup, GL Parameters and Project Accounting. Depth Understanding on Management Reporter Including muti country, Multi currency finance accounting consolidation. D365 ERP subject matter expert on trial balance, balance sheet reconciliation and consolidation at group level. Good Knowledge on Controls account issues. Experience in Bank Integration, bank reconciliation statement (BRS) setup and implementation Knowledge on Microsoft D365 (F&O) version update method and update complications/risk mitigation using RSAT process. Lead D365 application landscape enterprise ensuring SLA adherence by support within the internal team and implementation partners. Involved in preparing Functional Requirement Document (FRD), Functional Design Document (FDD), and Knowledge Transfer to Technical Team on Customizations, Testing and Training as per the Business requirements and within the Project Scope. Experience in business process reengineering and business process development would be an advantage as well as experience in ERP implementation for professional service firms. Good Analytical and Communication Skills.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Minimum 15 – 17 years of experience as a Sr. finance Consultant.

Extensive functional experience in D365 project management and accounting modules implementations, configuration, and setups. Integration experience with CRM, PWA with supporting PBI reporting,

Working background in professional services.

9+ years working directly with ERP clients as finance consultant ERP role, leading requirement gathering sessions, advising on how best to implement and maintain D365 Finance and accounting modules related complex projects, translating needs and requirements into solutions, and ensuring traceability and continuity are there throughout the project. Having the finance background and Charted account is desirable. Microsoft Certifications for Microsoft Dynamics ERP is also highly valued.
