- Develop and enhance web applications specifically tailored for the research publication process, including manuscript submission systems, peer review platforms, and content management systems.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and responsive designs that cater to the needs of researchers, editors, and publication staff.
- Integrate applications with backend services and databases, ensuring seamless data flow and storage for large volumes of academic content.
- Implement features that support complex workflows involved in manuscript submission, review, editing, and publishing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for data privacy, security, and accessibility, particularly for users with disabilities.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience across various devices and browsers.
- Work closely with product managers, content specialists, and academic advisors to understand user requirements and translate them into functional applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in web technology, Angular, and the scholarly publishing industry to continuously improve platform features and performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications, addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.-Proven experience as an Angular Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects in web development, preferably in the research publication or related industries.- Proficiency in Angular, Nodejs, sql, S3 buclcet, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web development technologies.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals and organizations within the academic community.- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.-Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.-Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
