JOB SUMMARY

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To champion and drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts throughout the site (Both the Sites – Bakrol & Odhav).

Emphasis on thought leadership, coaching, facilitation, and implementation.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish and maintain lean manufacturing and continuous improvement objectives. Deployment of Business Operating System (Pathway to Excellence) program throughout the organization. Coordinate lean manufacturing/Kaizen events / RPI's. Lean Six Sigma Training programs to lead with other trainings covered under Learning modules under PTE Deployment Plan. Run the Kaizen Suggestion Program (KSS) throughout the site meeting the targets. Drive 5S & Visual Management Program for the Site. Establish results targets and timelines for each area using problem solving skills. Continuously refine knowledge of lean manufacturing and deploy in all facets of the facility. Basic understanding on TPM & SMED and Lead Projects related to the topic. Utilize Value Stream Mapping processes throughout the organization. Teach and promote lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts. Facilitate the updating of procedures and work instructions to reflect newly implemented practices. Coach, motivate, and lead the teams to institute methods for sustaining the gains of each activity. Stress cost reduction with minimum investment. Project plans to include cost reduction targets. Keep safety and quality as primary concerns during planning and implementation phases of improvement activities. Steer site level productivity projects and administer project accounting along with leading factory productivity projects supports in generating lean savings. Interact with various departments, at all levels of the organization, to foster and achieve continuous improvement objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A four-year degree with an emphasis in operations, engineering, or business and/or commensurate experience Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment implementing cost reductions, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement concepts. A record of success managing projects encompassing multiple functions and disciplines. Proficient with project management tools, ie: Gantt Charts, Pareto Analysis, establishing timelines, and reporting progress to plan. Must have value stream mapping experience and fully understand the process Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Handson Experience on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI & other Microsoft Platforms Including Auto CAD.
