Job Description – Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions in collaboration with the team, adhering to development processes such as SOLID principles, TDD, and code reviews.
  • Maintain team coding standards to ensure the production of high-quality, clean, and efficient code focusing on maintainability, interoperability, and performance.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution with the team.
  • Provide mentorship on software development best practices to developers of all skill levels.
  • Assist in identifying technical debt areas and defining a roadmap to address them gradually.
  • Propose innovative ideas and work with the team to bring them to fruition.
  • Foster team accountability and autonomy.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
  • Extensive expertise in full-stack development, covering database, backend, and front end.
  • Strong proficiency in modern client-side Javascript.
  • In-depth understanding of software design, architecture, and programming best practices.
  • Skilled in .Net Framework and .Net Core.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills and significant experience in C#.
  • Experience in building single-page applications (SPA) using React.
  • Experience in creating RESTful web services with Web API.
  • Proficient in database design, SQL, Entity Framework, and Linq.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, source control, and DevOps tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Extensive experience with agile methodologies and unit testing.

  • Prior experience in leading software development teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple project teams.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow technically, while also supporting the development of team members.
