About the department


The position is based in Azure DevOps Product area in Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI), a department, part of Global IT Operations (GITO) - an area with 400+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our Infrastructure, Operations, Global Service Desk, and Digital Workplace Services.

The Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure department is an area consisting of 100+ people in 12 teams with highly skilled and dedicated employees worldwide.

We have a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, and we work in a truly global setup with colleagues located all over the world.

In C&CI we are globally responsible for all Novo Nordisk Cloud (Private and Public), and Corporate Infrastructure (Network and Connectivity).


The Position


As an Azure DevOps Architect, you will be owning the Azure DevOps architecture and play a key role in developing the strategy for ADO platform and define technical enablers to support the business strategy, define and maintain the architectural runway and ensure a harmonized and standardized system landscape.

You will lead technical and design discussions with stakeholders to help Novo Nordisk speed up our adoption of new cloud technologies and implement efficient end-to-end provisioning of automation solutions.

You will also be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  • Support continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle as well as GxP documentation.
  • Define Application Lifecycle Management tools and Source Control systems, such as GIT, Azure DevOps, and static code analysis for code quality and security.
  • Provide solutions to implement Azure DevOps (ADO) continuous integration & continuous deployment solutions for largesized projects.
  • Take ownership of design principles for integration of ADO platform with other relevant IT platforms in Novo Nordisk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) with 7+ years of experience in IT.
  • You will have 2+ years of experience in Azure DevOps supporting and managing the Azure DevOps platform.
  • 2+ years' experience creating and updating YAML pipelines in Azure ADO.
  • Experience in Incident and Problem management, Change management, Configuration management and Release management.
  • Knowledge of working with SAFe Agile principles.
  • You shall demonstrate a good understanding of ITIL, plus you have strong Compliance and GxP experience.
