Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Data Scientist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), vectors, embeddings, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Additionally, proficiency with langchain and a deep understanding of machine learning principles are essential.

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our data science strategy, leading projects, and mentoring junior team members.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

Lead the data science team in developing and implementing advanced NLP models, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.


Model Development:
Design, build, and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models utilizing vectors, embeddings, and LLMs to solve complex business problems.

Langchain Implementation:
Leverage langchain to integrate language models with external data sources and APIs, enhancing model capabilities.

Machine Learning:
Apply machine learning techniques to extract insights, predict outcomes, and improve decision-making processes.

Research & Innovation:
Stay current with the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and related technologies, incorporating them into ongoing projects.

Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to integrate data-driven solutions into the business.

Mentorship:
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Performance Monitoring:
Develop metrics and KPIs to measure model performance, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in NLP techniques and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of vectors and embeddings.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Proficiency with langchain.
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms and practices.
  • Programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Preferred

Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Published research in the field of NLP or machine learning. Other Key Responsibilities
  • Adherence to internal QMS (Quality Management System) procedures & Information Security Controls according to implemented ISMS (Information Security Management System) of the Organization.
  • Reporting immediate Reporting Manager/Supervisor related to incidents, suggestions, issues related to ISMS.
